The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins.

I am addicted to this series. Much thanks to @arsexy for lending me her book, which I blazed through while I was in Baguio. I finished Catching Fire earlier today, and I’m starting Mockingjay (a hard copy I bought at National Bookstore, SM Baguio - I COULD NOT WAIT!) right now.

I plan on getting the books out of the way by tomorrow, so I can work on thesis without a hitch. Ugh, my addictive personality.

With tears pouring down my face. I don’t think I’ve ever been this invested in and affected by a series of books this quickly. Waaaaah.

Something is severely wrong with my brain. I’m seriously stunned and depressed after finishing the Hunger Games. It’s all I think about, all I read about. I think I lack closure. And worst of all, I feel all crazy because no one else seems to feel my pain. HAHA. Please tell me I’m not alone?

@notrightsure: you really aren’t. I’ve read them through so many times and I’m still fascinated by them.

@meganthegreat: You’re not. I finished the last book two weeks ago and I haven’t thought about anything else since.

I’m relieved that I’m not alone and out of my mind. I did not want the series to end, but I guess it’s good that it did. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to get any work done! I’m definitely rereading it when school dies down!!!

OMG YEARS??? I was under the impression that it would come out this year. I’ll have to reread it a couple of times then, to apease myself! Haha.

FYA on Mockingjay

I totally agree with Henri’s (the author of the original post) take on Mockingjay, which is why I’m giving my full support to Team Gale. Snippets of the argument will be pasted after the break (but this is mostly for my own sake) and some bits of commentary. :)
