While thesis is not yet in full swing! Some things I picked up over the weekend: A “diamond” ring and a cheetah/leopard/whatever. I love it!

I spent more time in a mall than in class today.
Forever 21 opened today in SM Megamall. Jam, Anjo and I thought we got there early (at 10am), but we were super duper wrong. We decided to be early for the Topshop Private Sale at their flagship store in Galleria instead.
Selection was limited, and there was a smaller turnout compared to last year. (@roxaslovessushi bought better booty at the Trinoma branch, I’m so jealous.) Still I was able to buy three tops, which I didn’t really get to try on properly because lines to the dressing room were horrendous (as expected). It was only when I got home and tried them on that I really fell in love with them!
The first is a deep vee-neck shirt from Topman, but the mine was in lime green. It showed off too much boobage, so I need to wear a bandeau or bralette. Likewise with the blue racerback vest, otherwise I’d bust out. I couldn’t find my third top at the Topshop website, so I just posted one similar to it. I think Lemi would find it “very XV”. Hahahaha!
Til the next Topshop Private Sale! And Forever21, I hope to conquer you soon, hopefully with my mommy in tow.

Shopping Withdrawal

The only solution to shopping withdrawal is shopping. It’s the first time I’ve gone shopping in weeks, last time was the Top Shop sale. (I’m kind of saving up for that purple Curve! I’m probably halfway there, but that’s a different post.) Picked these up at the mall yesterday. This really expensive shop was on sale!

These sandals were 70%, can you believe! They originally cost around P2500, but I got them for P750! They’re a size 38, and I’m usually a 37, but they fit fine.

Got this at 50% off for P300. It’s a bit big for me though, but it’s too adorbz to pass up!

My mom picked out this bag for me, also at 50% off. Got this at around P675.

Overall, it was a good haul. Good thing I was with mom and she was in a giving mood! I love shopping, or even just accompanying someone on shopping errands. Especially when it’s sale season!

Funonas

Today was pretty long. Spent the first half of the day thrifting with friends, the in-between getting travel insurance and eating lunch by myself (as seen on Sex and the City, it was very liberating LOL), and the second half being a legit college student.

The damage came in three groups of three:

3 tops! That’s a white slouchy shirt, a men’s grey & red striped button down, and this adorable grey shirt, which I absolutely love! I first tried it on with the knot detail in the front, which turned out to be too revealing, but I decided to get it anyway and wear something underneath. When I got home, I tried it with the knot detail at the back, which provided me with a flattering scoop neckline. I LOVE IT, perfect to wear with a skirt.

3 cardigans! The black cape-looking thing is exactly what I always look for at ukay-ukays. Cardigans I always expect to find a lot of, but these two were ~unique~! The patterned one (center) reminds me of both cross-stitch patterns and pixels. (WHAT IS GEEK.) And I’ve always wanted a red cardigan. :)

3 bottoms! Now these were pleasant surprises. I love the pattern on the skirt, and it’s so floaty and light, with surprisingly opaque lining. I thought the cuffed boyfriend jeans were from Miss Sixty, but the logo actually said Miss Smart (WTF HAHA). And probably my favorite find of the day is the pair of harem pants! They can actually be worn as a tube jump suit, which makes it the most versatile of today’s pieces. I can’t wait to wear these babies out.

So that’s 3 shirts, 3 cardigans, 2 pairs of pants, and 1 skirt, all for Php405. Not fucking bad if I do say so myself, considering my budget was a stringent Php500. WIN!

Christmas haul from the family! Charles and Keith pumps from my older brother and his wife, Zara basic shirt from my eldest brother and his wife, and Forever 21 gift cards from my mom and dad! And the camera I used to take this photo was also kind of an advanced Christmas present. :)
Happy holidays everyone!
